The following are steps that IBH Addiction Recovery is taking to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

IBH Addiction Recovery is open and we are still taking Admissions.

Our staff is well prepared to respond to safety issues and limit the disruption to client services. IBH Addiction Recovery follows Summit County Public Health Department and the Ohio Department of Health guidance to ensure that we can provide a safe environment for our clients and staff. This includes intensifying our prescreening process prior to admitting clients. Prior to admission, all clients are provided with face covering and must complete a Health Screening upon arrival. Following the prescreening, clients meet with a Health Services Registered Nurse and are administered a COVID-19 Antibody Test. Only clients who successfully complete the COVID-19 screenings will then be admitted.

IBH Addiction Recovery's Health Services staff have additional diagnostic resources, including COVID-19 Antigen and PCR testing, available for client care, in conjunction with the Summit County Public Health Department and the Ohio Department of Health. Staff and clients also receive ongoing education and training so that we may prevent exposure to and the spread of COVID-19.

Dedicated to Keeping You Safe
Additional measures that are in place until further notice include:

  • Visitation and sponsorship visits are suspended. We have arranged for clients to have access to tablets for video conference visitation.
  • Client off-campus activities, including AA groups, are limited to ensure social distancing.
  • All visitors and staff must wear either protective masks or face coverings.
