Chief Development and Communications Officer

As Chief Development and Communications Officer, Jess Rist connects compassionate individuals and community partners with philanthropic opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others. She is responsible for creating and maintaining strategic fundraising plans to enhance and support the mission of IBH Addiction Recovery. Additionally, she is responsible for creating and distributing organizational messaging internally to keep staff and management informed.

Jess brings years of both professional and personal experience in nonprofit fundraising, event planning, volunteer management, nonprofit leadership, and community outreach. She has dedicated her life to fighting and advocating for causes important to her and her community including IBH Addiction Recovery, the National MS Society, the Alzheimer’s Association, OPEN M, and more.

Jess volunteers her time as a chair for the Association of Fundraising Professionals board of directors and Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary board of directors.
